ABOUT US 

Asteras Tripolis Chicago FC was founded in November 2024 with a clear purpose: to build a competitive and professionally run soccer club in Chicago while proudly representing and staying closely connected with Asteras Tripolis FC in Greece, one of the country’s most established football clubs and home to one of the largest and fastest growing academies in Greece. Asteras Tripolis FC has competed in the Greek Super League for over 20 years, setting a standard of consistency, professionalism and player development at the highest level. The club has also represented Greece in European competitions, including multiple appearances in the UEFA Europa League, demonstrating its ability to compete at the international level and exposing its players to elite competition. These accomplishments and experiences guide our identity in Chicago and inspire our ambitions.

From the very beginning, the club has been supported by Asteras Aktor, which has served as an official sponsor since our founding and has played an important role in our early growth. This support reflects shared values of ambition, stability, and long term vision.

From the start, our goal has been to create more than just a team. We aim to build a club that reflects ambition, discipline, and unity on and off the field. Inspired by the football philosophy and development model of Asteras Tripolis in Greece, we focus on strong team culture, accountability, and long term growth.

Our first competitive season came in Spring 2025, when we participated in PSL Chicago. In our inaugural campaign, we made an immediate impact by finishing second place, a result that highlighted the commitment of our players, coaching staff, and leadership.

As our club continues to grow, we are focused on strengthening our presence within the Chicago soccer community. Through increasing fan support, strong engagement on social media, and meaningful partnerships, Asteras Tripolis Chicago FC has quickly established a recognizable and respected identity.

Looking ahead, Spring 2026 marks the next step in our journey as we prepare to compete in the UPSL, one of the most competitive semi professional leagues in the United States. This progression reflects our ambition to compete at a higher level, attract top talent, and provide opportunities for players to develop and succeed.
